An Affinity Club Chartered by the San Diego County Democratic Party
From transit to renewable energy to climate change, clean beaches and waterways to open space, transparency of our regulatory agencies and ensuring environmental justice to defending our public lands, San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action serves as a clearinghouse for environmental and conservation issues in San Diego County and throughout Southern California.
As part of bringing environmental issues into the forefront for Democratic lawmakers and candidates in the San Diego region, the club seeks to foster ongoing, active interest in the Democratic Party, greater support and adherence to the California Democratic Party's environmental platform, contribute to party leadership and responsibility, provide a constructive role for volunteers in Democratic politics, promote an activist base, and assist and enable Democratic candidates to run – and win – on environmental principles.

In conjunction with a diverse, growing membership throughout San Diego County, we seek greater engagement with Democratic lawmakers and candidates on environmental issues by providing a forum to meet and interact with environmentalists, conservationists, advocates, and members of the public at regular club meetings and events.
We also hold Democratic lawmakers and candidates accountable in pursuing tangible, reasonable and needed environmental legislation at the local, state and federal level. For specifics on club rules, please examine our club bylaws, or attend a club meeting for more information.
