The club awarded friendly endorsements to Congressman Scott Peters in the 52nd Congressional District (CA-52) and Assemblymember Todd Gloria in the 78th Assembly District (AD-78), and then moved on to the day's three key endorsement considerations.

Unless otherwise stated, endorsement meetings are open to the public, and all members of San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action in good standing are invited to attend and vote. Only club members are permitted to vote in this endorsement process. Please ensure that your club registration is up to date.

San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action welcomes new members, but according to the definiton of "members in good standing" as detailed in the club bylaws (Article IV, Section V), applicable club members who can vote will have attended at least one (1) prior club meeting or paid their dues at least 34 days prior to the meeting. Only those members who meet those requirements will be eligible to vote at our endorsement meetings. Absolutely no proxy voting is allowed.

Those with expired memberships that are within the 45-day grace period for renewal may vote provided they make payment at that time, if not before. If you have any questions about the status of your membership, please contact club president Tommy Hough, second vice president Fred Rogers or treasurer Brett Fisher.

The club provides specific ballots for each race upon check-in. In the event of a second round of voting, additional ballots will be distributed. Applicable candidate questionnaires will be distributed and picked up for each race. No candidate questionnaire may leave the room.
